A shakey, documentary-style film won over AVATAR?

Seriously?

Let's see... Pocahontas/Dances With Wolves/Frengully movie lost to a film that's far more original than most of the Hollywood rehashes.

Yea, I don't see what there is here to be upset about.
I can’t seem to face up to the facts.

Hurtlocker is a cheap, boring, doc-u-drama. Anyone could've made it. But the director happened to be Cameron's ex-bitch...

You can't read between the lines here?

That might be true, but it's also the highest grossing film of all time. Something weird is happening here, and I think I can see what it is.

Pirates 3 grossed a shitload and it didn't get best picture.

Gross means nothing to Hollywood. Hell, I'm surprised they even let it on the ballot. Zombieland was a far superior plot to Avatar... hell, even STar Trek was. The only unique thing about Avatar was the titanic waste of money on shitloads of CG. The End.

I bet some pron is actualy the highest grossing movies of all time, do those win oscars?

People are idiots, because people spend a shitload to see a movie doesn't mean it's good.

Avatar lacks originality and well let's face it half of the movies out now days lack that so nothing new there. Who cares about the gross that doesn't win shit as far as awards go. If gross actually mattered award shows would all be based of off the people's choice and their not.
