I'm sorry. I'm not blowing anyone off, dodging calls and emails.
It's just the same old crap, you know? Mom had to go back in hospital for a while... she had some new problems that threw us for a loop. I haven't wanted to talk about it. Still don't.
We had some old (and new) aggravations with the house--again, it's just too depressing to speak of. We're getting through it, but I'm too tired to talk, and haven't wanted to explain things anyway. |

Explanations are overrated. So are feelings. Explanations with strong feelings attached... those make me want to break things. Not break in a 'wow, the way that shattered was totally awesome' kind of way, but more a 'hey, all the king's horses and all the king's men- suck it' kind of way.
The worst part is that the people who keep wanting you to talk about it, which if anything is merely going to make you feel that much worse, are only doing so because they want to help. It's kind of hard to fault someone for not perceiving that if there was anything they could do, and I actually wanted their help, I'd offer up that damn precious explanation without them even having to ask... Especially since I'm not so certain I honestly would. |

Things don't change. If anything, I've become more distant. Friends want to know why you've dropped off the face of the earth... because they're your friends.
